It’s a new year and the entertainment industry is still rejoicing on how several ‘beefs’ in the industry were settled before the end of 2017.
Despite the joy of reconciliation that Nigerians felt, it is saddening that the year did not swallow all unnecessary rivalries and beefs in the industry.
While we rounded up with Davido and Wizkid’s renewed friendship, we also got blessed with the reconciliation of the old MoHits crew only to be assaulted with the new beef between some other entertainers.
From all indications, the new year is not without rivalry and competition.
Oritsefemi: The self acclaimed musical Taliban shocked Nigerians and most likely his colleagues on December 27th the night of Davido’s concert after tweeting some hate speeches which clearly showed he wasn’t on good terms with his colleagues.
Whether we like it or not, the fires of ‘beef’ has been fueled between the singer and an unspecified number of other entertainers.
Dammy Krane: While it is still not clear who the singer has issues with at the moment, we recall that he is not on good terms with Tekno.
After his show days ago, the superstar posted that some people would not be happy about the success of his show. He wrote “Some people won’t be happy… However we shut down Agege and filled up a stadium without them”
Whoever the singer is referring to, we can say, a beef exists somewhere!
Reekado Banks: Mavin star Reekado is not left out in the list of beefs that did not end with the year. The singer who thinks he is way better than many of his colleagues sparked an outrage during his show a couple of weeks ago after dissing his fellow Next Rated Nominees.
So why we rejoice on the victories of the old battles let’s remember we also have to quench these embers burning.
