Everton are considering making an approach for Patrick Vieira to be their new manager, Metro.co.uk can reveal. Vieira has been linked with a return to Arsenal following Arsene Wenger’s decision to stand down at the end of the season, but the captain of the Invincibles is just one of several candidates in the running to succeed his compatriot. Despite spending close to £100million in the summer, Everton were forced to appoint Sam Allardyce in November following a disastrous start to the season.
