Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez has resumed light training and is expected to be fit for the club’s final game of the Premier League season against Watford, Metro.co.uk can reveal. The Chilean missed United’s 1-0 defeat to Brighton on Friday night with Jose Mourinho revealing the 29-year-old has sustained a ‘knock’ in training. Mourinho was reluctant to divulge any further details about Sanchez’s injury and supporters were understandably concerned that he would miss United’s FA Cup final clash with Chelsea in two weeks’ time. However, Metro.co.uk understands Sanchez could feature on the final day of the Premier League season when United host Watford after the forward resumed light training over the weekend. Sanchez is unlikely to be risked against West Ham on Thursday night but he was seemingly pain free taking free-kicks in a training session on Tuesday and is on the road back to full fitness.
